Has anyone ever used it? My brother painted his exhaust manifold to smarten things up after an engine rebuild, but the stuff burnt off after a few miles!! It was supposed to be heat resistant but wasn't up to the job. Is any of it any good? Or should I just have rusty manifolds?!

I've heard a few cases of it burning off, but as far as I know the plain black high temperature stuff should be alright, but I could be talking curse word again! ;D ;D

Thanks for the replies! I'll have a look around and see what's on the market. It's at the end of a very long "to do" list but it's good to know what to look for!

I read a tip in a very old copy of 'Practical Classics' about using tyre paint on manifolds...... Please note: I cannot be held responsible if you car stinks and/or bursts into flames.... ;D

|
... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.
