howley inlet manifold and su,mini/a series

manifold would come up nice but carb is a bit battered,one of the spindles is bent externaly. beer money offers invited as its no use to me.

its a manifold........made by howley ;D ;D they used to do a fair bit of tuning stuff for the mini/ A series motor

The carb is a 1.5" SU

Looks to be quite an early one from a 848cc / 998cc / 1098cc as there's no fuel over flow pipe on the float chamber. (if the chamber top is original anyway)

Take the carb off and chuck it away to save weight on postage if you want!

obviously its an electric choke model ;D ;D ;D
think it is a 1.5" how does £20 plus whatever the post is from the post office sound(would like to see what car its going on too)

If these guys can give it a proper useful home then go for it

If slater has it and you "throw the carb away" i'll give you postage price + money for a pint for it ;D

However if querty can get use from the carb then let it go there- the reason i was thinking of having it was as a possible future replacement carb for the micra, as the chokes on the current hitatchi one look more like jets they're that small so it was just for a "look see" more than anything, was thinking more of an 1"3/4 HiF44 though, but maybe two inch 'n 'arfs will do it
