Hi all, I'm selling my Open Air Polo as I've recently had a change of job, and I'm looking to scale up to something a little more 'gutsy'
I know its not quite Retro yet - but in my oppinion, these Polo's are great cars - This one's been my daily driver for a couple of years now.
Anyway, here's the detail...
1998 'S' Reg 1.4 CL Polo Open Air Special Edition.
Dragon Green,
97k on the clock, (with some history and lots of reciepts)
MOT'd last week, (flew through, needing only a tyre to pass)
6 months Tax,
4x recent tyres,
Cambelt changed at 80,000
CD player,
Clean Interior,
'Valbrem' Alloy wheels, (in good condition)
16v front and rear lenses.
Now, the problem with the car is the fact that the paintwork has suffered in places - with a recent superficial dent in the rear valance (would easily be covered by a 16v rear bumper though)
There is a small area of rust under the passenger side rear taillight. and there are signs of rust on the drivers side rear arch - but nothing major.
Also the front bumper is showing signs of the paint flaking off after having been stonechipped in the past. (this won't cost much to respray)
The only other problem with the car is that the fuel guage only works intermittently.
However, don't let the above detract from mechanically strong Polo with a rare optional extra. The full length electric sunroof really makes a difference on sunny days and the body attention could easily be tackled by an enthusiastic DIY-er.
I'm asking for offers around £1200 so PM me or reply here.
The Car is located in Long Eaton - close to Derby and Nottingham - 10 minutes off the M1.
Matt
