Right, I'm sure you've seen this thread, and drooled over all the purdy retro bodies thet you can buy for the Mardave V12 chassis, heres your chance to buy one!
Mardave Hot Rod racing is one of the most fun classes you can have on carpet, only beaten (in my opnion), by the banger class. VERY cheap to run, even at national level, and spares cost pence (most expensive thing on the spares list is a battery, for £20!).
In essense, Mardave V12's are a basic R/C chassis, with a coil sprung wishbone setup up front, and a rocking rear pod coltrolled by two springs at the back. Its RWD and has a locked rear axle, to keep costs down.
I've been racing all scales for around 9 years now, and this is my 4th Mardave V12. I've used this one for around a month and a half, its won all but 3 races its been on track for (total of 26 races), so its got a pretty nailed setup.
This one I'm selling is a rolling chassis plus steering servo and reciever, motor and a pack of Sanyo RACE2000 cells.
Comes with a spare set of new wheels amongst other things like spur gear, front hub etc, and a near new Kamtec (BMW) Mini Cooper body.
To make it ready to go, you'll need:
Electronic Speed Control (something like a Novak XRS)
Transmitter and frequency crystals (about a tenner on evilbay)
Charger (Pro-Peak Varipluse for example)
and some other small things, like a soldering iron and solder, battery connectors, some velcro etc. All available from www.modelsportuk.com
Pics:
I know its a BMW Mini body, but stick a Kamtec Rover P6, or Kamtec Starlet on it.
