Posting up on behalf of a friend who hasn't got web access right now. Very tidy with 70 something k on the clock Has had small amounts of welding to the sills and has a couple of blemishes. Certainly nothing major to worry about. Dark Blue with Light Blue Interior T&T to Sep 07 (Tax Exempt) Recent Clutch and battery. Selling due to needing Hatchback (bought MkI Cav Sporthatch) looking for £450Car is currently near Aylesbury. More photo's... above two pics are the N/S (passenger) sill. Drivers sill is similar.

Very little if any. I'll be seeing both the car and the owner tomorrow so will double check, but it certainly ain't bad.

Can't stress how nice and relatively modern these feel to drive. My dad had a Stage 2 one, with seam welded shell, big carbs, straight through single pipe and dropped a little - had that gorgeous red interior too! From his description sounds like it went pretty well ;D He sold it when it was pretty far gone...(bodywork rise)....guy he sold it to just left it outside and he watched it sink into the floor over a period of years Got a pic of it somewhere, will dig it out one day.

I'm actually rather tempted to have this as my daily.... Does anyone want to fill me in a bit on these? I'm not up on my Brit classics. Parts availability? Is most stuff Triumph parts bin? Will it run on unleaded?

Unleaded will be fine, preferably Optimax or similar - if not, a nice slug of Millers VSP in the tank - may need to retard the ignition a few degrees but will be fine. Otherwise, yup, it's all Triumph kit you can get from Rimmers and Quiller Triumph as well as a load of other places - there are a few odds and sods that are hard to get hold of such as gearbox bits, trim and some specific parts but everything else is OK - or availiable through the club. It shouldn't give much grief anyway, they're simple machines They're lovely to drive but are a bit shortly geared for motorway work so bear that in mind - whilst they'll cruise at 70+ it could get a bit noisy and thrashy! - highly recommend an oil temperature and pressure gauge at that point, then consider a thermostatic oil cooler. Lots of tweaks and bits you can add to style 'em up, bit tight for choices on rims tho as they're funny offset Example of the FWD specific bits rimmers carry: www.rimmerbros.co.uk/rimmer/triumph/dolomite/toledo1300 engine is a sweet little lump that responds well to basic mods too and service kits are peanuts - 30 quid for the whole kaboodle from Canley! ;D Tax free too
