After all the hoo-hah of Xmas is over, I'll very probably be putting my 1991 Merc 300D up for sale. It's silver with black cloth interior,nearly 180k miles,AMG front and rear spoilers,Duchatelet 15" alloys,tax out in March,MOT is april 07 but I'll put 12 months on her for the right price,central locking, single CD player,leccy windas all round,leccy sunroof,leccy aeriel,full set of discs and pads will be fitted before the MOT is up,rear tyres are half worn but I'll be sticking new ones on the front,clear front indicator lenses and clear rear lights fitted,clear side repeaters to go on(supplied), reflective rear panel (like the old RGA tailblazers in the 80's) from Matrixcar.de,full merc toolkit,first aid kit and mats. It has loads of history and receipts,handbooks etc. There is a Clifford Avital alarm with 2 fobs(I was told it can work the central locking but I haven't bothered with it) .There is a patch repair to the space under the washer bottle where the water had been collecting but it's not pretty so I'll be geting it done properly and resealing the underneath.Also a towbar with twin electrics.
Needs a wee bit TLC ie-
Some rust showng on rear o/s door frame
Standard issue wear hole on driver's seat
Driver's leccy window switch a bit iffy but I'll be swapping that out soon.
Like I said before, I won't be selling till into the New Year but I may be tempted by a swap before then as I'll need a car for work.
I'd be interested in a mk1 Astra GTE,Manta GTE,Capri 2.8 or what have you.
I'm up in Aberdeen but can deliver within reason
