Afternoon all
Well, a sad day for me, I've weighed it up and decided to sell my Dolomite
I've owned it for about 6 months now. Originally I was after a car that I could to a lot of miles in due to work. I brought the Dolomite, but now I feel really guilty about putting miles on it (you will see why in the details below) and using it as my daily run about.
It's a Triumph Dolomite 1850HL Auto in Pagent Blue with a few miles over 44k on the clock (Genuine!) I've got all the MOT's and Tax discs since it left the factory in 78! Got stacks of paperwork with it too. There is MOT till the middle of May and tax till July. It is a real pleasure to drive and drives fantastic! Never had any problems at all! Doesn't use any water/oil at all. The bodywork is fantastic too. The only work it has had in its 28 year life is a small patch welded underneath a few years ago.
Right, the bad bits. But to be honest, I don't see them as a problem. 1. There is a bit of rust on the boot to on the bottom right (it is near the 1850HL badge). 2. There are a few parking dents, but they can only be seen at certain angles, just thought I would mention it). and 3. The Temp guage is not connected. I know the immediate thought is that it overheats, but trust me, it doesn't. I just haven't got round to connecting it.
^ That was just after I brought it.
I've also got some wheel trims I've reconditioned to put on. Was ment to do it the weekend but I've been rough with the flu.
I'm looking for about £1300ono, but I may take PX or swap. WHY?
If you have any questions or anything. Just give me a PM
Cheers,
Dan.
