Any questions, let me know. Any photo requests (no nudes...) and I'll try and take them.
This is PERFECT for the retro modellers on here - lots of quality, detailed photos of decades upon decades of rallying.

Wow...Where do we start?
You're bidding on one of the finest motorsport books ever made.
RALLY by the legendary photographer Reinhard Klien with foreword by Björn Waldegard and text by David Williams, Michel Lizin and Helmut Deimel.
Almost four hundred pages of the most stunning and beautiful photography of all time, wrapped in a sturdy red hardback with full-colour dust jacket and printed on sumptious, glossy paper...(trying to sound like a Marks And Spencers' advert here... )
Covering everything from the early beginnings of World Rallying in the post-war years to the Rise and fall of Group 4, Group B, Group A, Group N and the birth of the WRCs (World Rally Cars) in 1997, RALLY covers the history, the stories, the cars, the endeavours, the teams, the stages, the rallies and the people that have made the world rallying scene what it is over more than thirty years. There is also a lengthy statistics section at the rear of the book which is useful for settling those odd little arguments...
The copy in question was actually purchased in Adelaide, Australia in the year 2000. I pounced on it, fighting off wild Koalas, Kangaroos, Cane Toads and assorted rallying fans (you know the type - clutching a thermos of hot, sweet tea and wearing a bobbly hat, they can reel off the specifications of mk II Escort valve springs at 100 yards...) and ended up carrying it home to the North-East of England via half of Australia, Malaysia and Japan.
But...My girlfriend and I are taking the plunge and getting on the property ladder. This means two things:
1, we need money...so some posessions must be sacrificed (see my recent sales of some of my slot car collection, current sales for magazines which I had lying spare and upcoming sales of all my car magazine collection, including a lot of rare/out of print issues of Evo, Retro Cars and so on...).
2, we won't have as much space as we have at the moment...So bye-bye to some of my larger books, my magazine collection and (very shortly), my retro hifi gear too...
Anyway; back to the point at hand...I have only ever seen one other copy of this magnificent tome in the flesh (so to speak...) and it had a nice little £200 tag attached to it. Checking online shows (used) copies on Amazon for well over £100 and up to almost £170.
Payment by Paypal is preferred.
Postage will be hefty. It's a big book and it weighs a lot (about 4Kg).
Checking the Royal Mail site gives a price of £13 using UK 'Standard Parcels' to deliver.
Postage to Europe will be £20 and to the rest of the world, £40 (Royal Mail Airsure). Apparantly nothing over 2Kg can be sent to Canada...So if you're from the friendly north, let me know of a curier who does 4Kg+ packages from the UK to you and I'll find prices.
If anyone has any suggestions for cheaper delivery options, let me know via a question and I'll update the site accordingly.
Of course, you are welcome to collect in person in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England (just off the A1).
If you have ANY questions at all, let me know. I will do my best to answer them. When my hosting starts to behave itself, I will put some interior shots up too.
Best of luck and happy bidding!
