Hello all, time for a clearout to fund a new shell!
I have pretty much an entire engine for sale plus some extras.
I have photos of most of it so email me.
So first up we have a turbo crank i aquired a few years ago and haven't used or even unwrapped. Its used but has all importent surfaces tapped up for storage. I have unwrapped the nose and looks fine. £20
Set of turbo rods/pins, three have pistons on them. They had 73.5mm powermax pistons but two suffered from detonation, one was removed and one remains. The remaining two look ok but thats your call! £10
A pair of new old stock AP 4 pot calipers in lovely gold. Stored as they come new with plugs etc. £60
These three items i am prepared to post at your expense or can meet you somewhere (see below).
Finaly the engine i won't split this its all or nothing!!!
Has been stripped due to pistons suffering detonation. I know what your thinking, i did it once with this engine and then again on the 1380 but that was due to a brand new boost guage not giving accurate readings! I do learn from mistakes, and am not in the habit of wrecking engines!
Anyway the pistons need replacing, the block was bored and honed +0.060" to clean it up has been oiled and stored since. the rods and pins are there, the crank is in good nick also and includes main caps. Camshaft and timing sprockets/chain, and engine end plate also there. So basicly a short engine.
Also included is a 12g940 head with 1ex and 1in valve missing for research.
Turbo gearbox except 1st has all the teeth missing as the input bearing failed.
1 huge box of gearbox parts, gears, bearings and shafts as well as engine bits (mounts, brackets, spacers) and a few other parts like the odd knuckle joint. About half of the stuff is new i think but to be honest i'm not certain, i havn't been through it for a long time.

Plenum takeoff standard x2 one has hole drilled for dumpvalve and the other has two tapped holes drilled in it? I'm not sure where i got that from.

Typical 13 row oil cooler with heavy duty pipes (think it was off an MGB)
So most of what you need assuming you were doing a rebuild which you would do anyway. All you need to is rebuild whats there and get a carb/plenum and ancilleries.
So i want £400 or best offer for this lot
Obviously i think postage is out of the question but i am making a few long journeys in the near future.
You can collect from me in Petersfield, hants.
Or we can arrange a meeting between Petersfield and Cadwell Park, Lincolnshire for about 2/3 weeks time or between Petersfield and Fort William towards the end of Feb.
I appreciate that sounds like the whole country and i'm willing to deviate a little from my course at your expense but would prefer motorway service sort of thing or similar. Best bet is probably to talk to me about it first.
