well I'm pretty pi$$ed off with my capri, so am toying with selling it. hopefully will be running tomorrow on a STANDARD 3 litre engine, but with k&n plus sportex (v. noisy) exhausts.
it has got 18 month old calipers, discs and green stuff pads (2.8 vented setup)
18 month old rear shoes and wheel cylinders
10 month old sportex mild steel exhaust system
recent h/d multi leaf rear springs
bilstein struts with 180 l/b springs
RS 4's with good 205/60 13 champiro's
c/w spare autobox
the shell is reasonably grot free underneath. top half has been patched in a few places that show, but the satin blue paint adds to the effects, LOL! its solid, just not the prettiest.
the 3.1 that needs work could be included in the sale. it needs the block caustic tanked to remove the scale and rust that causes the core plugs to burst, and the main bearings are pretty bad. they haven't spun so it may just need a polish, but the crank may need grinding, I haven't had it measured. obviously it needs new shells and an oil pump, could do with rings too. engine psec was +60 pistons, stage 2 burton heads (NOT unleaded), crane roller rockers (would benefit from new needle bearings, available from any bearing suppliers by size), holley carb and inlet, lumenition, alloy rocker covers, oil cooler and oil stat. car runs a pacet fan and uprated 2 core radiator with group 2 style haeder tank (its a granada auto one).

£600 as is? carb and manifold will make £150 on its own... or anyone else got an idea?
