Had a look, its a typically crusty 12v original T1 starter...will test and get pics if you want.  GSF list brandy new bosch ones for 62.50+VAT. |

as long as it fits on a beetle and works ill take it. might have to wait till next payday (end of month) if thats ok? iv been a little....indulgent.....this month

Well, the reason I took it off was beacuse I THOUGHT it was f*cked. I bought a new starter, fitted it and discovered it was a voltage drop problem that was causing the non starting. So it should be ok, it spooled up fine when i last tested it. Will test later as I'm off out now. |
