Following a side swipe in the icy weather I will be selling my H reg 1600GL Hyundai Stellar in the next 2 weeks.
The car has genuine 38,000 (one previous owner and all previous MOTs - until I bought it last August) and was in top class condition until the two off side doors were dented (but not the mid pillar) - + I've still been driving it around on the dark nights.
Mechanically it is perfect for anyone wanting mechanical parts for a Cortina but it will certainly go back on the road as it only really needs the drivers door for the test.
It is MOTd until May and it has never let me down.
I'd love to keep it as it is now becoming a rare car but I have a Mark 1 Honda Civic with only 19,000 on the clock, a Wolsley Ranger and a Saab 99 coupe to be getting on with when the good weather comes along (though if someone twists my arm the Saab 99 coupe - A reg - could be for sale). I bought it as a running restoration (it really didn't need any restoration) but really haven't got the time to be doing anything major to it.
I also have some spares for it which I got from the chap who had it before me + the factory workshop manual.
My wife is the wizz with the pictures so I'll get her to put some on next week.
Even as it is it is a collectable and extremely reliable car - when did you last see one?
I am open to any reasonable (reasonable!! I said) offers - what do good Mk 5 Cortinas go for? - this is the Mark 6 that never was. If this was a Mk 5 Cortina it would be £500, no ifs and buts - but it isn't and it isn't £500 - so think about it - this really is a modern, usable and affordable classic.
