The car has no tax or mot. It's a 1986 D plate GT model in Oriental Blue. It's been fitted with a 2.0 DOHC C20XE engine from a 91/92 Calibra with 82k on the clock. Engine is pretty standard other than having a proper alloy power cap fitted, a cone filter and a RWD specific 4-2-1 tubular manifold and stainless steel scorpion system. It comes with a metal OPEL plug cover fitted and an uprated clutch kit from rally design to be fitted, also a set of Koni springs and adjustable shocks to be fitted. As the car started life as an 1800 it has the lower ratio rear axle fitted which works well with this engine conversion.
On the inside i've fitted a late spec Recaro interior which is light and dark grey with red piping and is in lovley condition, also the rear windows are fixed so you don't have the usual problem of the hinges snapping.
On the outside ive fitted an Irmscher rear bumper and number plate blanking panel, at the front ive fitted a set of Irmscher twin headlamps with new sealed beam headlamps fitted, though the headlamps require wiring up. Also comes with a pair of GTE sideskirts in red that are not fitted.
The car runs but the fuel system could do with doing properly as it still has a carb tank at the moment, the return goes back into the feed. The wiring could also do with being tidied up.
The rub strips have been removed, the small pins along the sides og the car that these clipped onto have yet to be removed.
There is some minor bubbling around the rear edge of the sunroof and some on the bottom of the doors. There is a small hole above each of the headlamps on the fron panel. Its done under 100 miles since its last mot which was 2 years ago.
Would let the whole car go for £800 but will consider breaking if i have enough intrest.
