It really is time to move this on. A change in family car policy means that my beloved Volvo is no longer viable. It's a 1987, auto, 2ltr. 88k miles and no troubles. It's lowered 4 inches all round and all the trim has been junked. The roof is black. There is NO RUST! anywhere on the car. All four tyres are fine. The MOT runs out in August, but the tax is due end of March, I'm going to SORN it. The right swap would be considered. I'm hoping to replace it with a pre 70 project car. The bottom line being that in order to buy Mrs Wagoneer a new car, we need to cut costs so tax, insurance and running costs considered, wecan only afford one car for a while. If you've got £450 spare, it could be yours!

It's a mighty solid ride! How about slapping it on the 'bay?

If you have this in about 3 weeks time I will be mightily interested. I'm in Sussex so pretty close too.

Gonna be sad to see this go. When i first joined retro-rides your car was one of the first things i remember that made me think. It really caught my attention and made me start looking at stuff i'd never given a second glance up to then. In fact i might go as far as to say for me its one of the cars that totally sums up the retro-rides attitude. Hope it stays in the 'family'

Thanks for the offers of cars guys, but I'm thinking old as in '50s or 60's. Old being relative of course, I was born in '69 so anything after that seems new!
Boycie, drom me a PM and I'll let you know if it's still here.
Rev. I have tears in my eyes, that's a beautiful thing to say man.
Rmad, cheers for the pictures. No doubt you'll help with the next ride. See you on Wheels Day. It will go up on the 'bay when I've taken a few 'sell the car' shots.
