Well after viewing the other night, I parted with my reddies and bought this................................ 2.0ltr injection, 5 speed, previous owner was a vicar ;D High miles but SO clean its unbeleivable. So do I go the whitewalls/trim rings/lowering route or slam it and add a set of T5 alloys !!! Either way it'll end up with clear lenses on the front and sides !! To say I'm well chuffed is an understatement

sweeeet you cannot beat a good old 4 wheeled tank to play chicken with ya milionaire neighbours with ;D Had a look around some of the 240 modding websites? they do look really good with some modern Volvo alloys, I also saw some clear indicators for them somewhere, cant remember where. Sheesh, I'm jealous! I want one! ;D Good luck with it bud

I think it was Clarkson who reckoned that Volvo was started by de-mobbed Sweedish military, and that it was run as a charity to support ex-tank drivers... ;D
Cool ride, tho. I have designs on one myself - they make excellent tow vehicles! And it means I can park like everyone else on this road (by feel) without fear of damaging anything else.
As for rims... T5 cool. Or how about GLT 5-spoke alloys with the centres blacked and the rims polished?

Just cos something is good for you doesn't mean its good for everyone - for example Marmite does not make good Dog Food.

That's one cool barge! Well done! Ultra-low, steelies, smoothed.... sorted IMHO. Reckon some subtle engine tweaks / transplant would be cool.... Been thinking about 240s too... but I don't have space for another barge Oh, and please forgive the subliminal message.... it has to be said.... ;D

I thought I would be a fan of those wheels ..... but for some reason I'm really not. They look too modern for the car IMHO.
