Right, so I've somehow found myself the proud owner of this beastie:
It's a 1977 1.6L, and I do quite like it, but unfortunately the delicate equilibrium between the size of my fleet and that of my bank balance is in danger at the moment so I'm having to put this up for sale. It's got a few little dings that are only really visible close up, there's a small leak into the passenger footwell in heavy rain (which, given that we've had nothing but heavy rain for about two months now, means the carpet is currently a bit damp) which seems to be coming through the heater vents, and the Rostyles are actually wheeltrims. Other than that it's pretty good really, it's a solid, tidy car and gets plenty of looks. It's tested till next April and taxed till the end of September, and it drives fine, with no overheating or other silliness. Being an L the interior is fairly basic, but it's pretty clean for the age of the car.
It's had some money spent on it over the last few years, including new brake discs and calipers so it stops exceptionally well for an old Vauxhall. It also has MoT certificates going back to 1985, which suggest that the current mileage of around 62,000 may well be genuine.
Price? Not really sure what these are worth. Would £550 be reasonable?
