For sale reluctantly due to a new project:
Here's the details:
1992 J MK2 Golf 1.3 C in Alpine white. Tax and test until December O7.
Car has done 135k miles, but a later engine with 105k was fitted by the previous owner. The car has service history up to 100k on the old engine.
I have carried out a full service on the car, with oil, filters, plugs and leads. Last MOT it flew thru only needing a back box, but I replaced the lot from flexi pipe back. The original engine and a 5spd box are included if wanted.
Mods Carried Out:
Full Rainbow Stripe GTi interior with no bolster wear, including door cards.
Jamex Coilovers fitted (only been on the car 6 months, mint condition- these were £300 on their own)
German style Show Plates
½ Tint 16v Rear clusters
Clear indicators and repeaters.
Colour Coded Badges all round.
Rear wiper removed and blanked (wiper arm included)
This car is very clean for its age. The only bodywork it has is a parking ding on the passenger door, and dent on the n/s/f wing which I pushed out, just needs filling and paint. Other than that, just a couple of scratches here and there.
It could do with those bits sorting and blowing over to make mint.
This is an ideal first dub for someone who is a new driver, or alternatively a good base for an engine swap.
THE ONLY REASON I’m selling this car is cos I’ve been offered another project and I don’t have the space to keep it.
It’s covered less than 2000 miles in the 2 yrs since I’ve had it, and it’s never let me down.
I’m not including the alleycats, but can put it on some steels with good tyres, or use your own wheels.
