Speaking of old skool.
Does anyone know where I can get an RS1700t bodykit for a MK3 escort?
I want it for a semi-replica G3 project that I'm planning.

I would say try looking trough some of the mk3,4 escort/orion clubs and websites for spares or bits and bobs for sale or just to ask them, they are bound to know where ya can find body kits.

I have tried all the manufacturers and the RS owners club but to no avail.
I missed one on ebay about 8 months ago by 3 minutes. DOH!

wasn't the RS1700T a totally different car to the Mk3 Escort? i.e. different wheelbase and track? in theory you could make an RS1700T lookalike but it'd look odd, a bit like these Cosworths made out of a MK5 'scort... all the bits are there but not quite right, since the Cosworth is a different floorpan.

Sorry but no. The RS1700t was a converted MK3. The engine was different though, it ended up in the RS200
|

now that pre badges rs2k is a rariety, id love a pre oval grill, but the fetch £50+ easily, compared to a badged one at £20ish, id rather spend it on other bits tbh ;D
