I've got a few jobs on the MGB to do, trim the carpet so it fits round the roll bar, loosen off the d/s rear brake as its sticking after standing a while and try unblock the drain pipe from the fresh air vent.
What you got planned?

I need to:
refit the N/S hub and torque up all the ball joint nuts
tighten both driveshaft nuts and fit new split pins
try and repair the broken wiper stalk, I dropped the cage on it! and refit the grille and connect up the spotlights.

I've got to give the 1303 a pre-mot inspection, well see if the lights work anyway. Then make the vespa roadworthy, needs a seat and horncover making/fitting and fix the indicators. If I get time I'll give the datsun a going over and see if its worth keeping as it hasn't sold. Maybe I'll start removing the engine if I get time (some hope!)

I've got the wifes job today as it's her Saturday in work ;D That involves stinky nappies, messy feed times, stopping her from getting at the PC, & general winging & crying - more teeth on their way ;D Also have a sparky round to quote for some work, & the good old Saturday visitors Have a alloy switch panel to fit in the Mk1 & want to take the clocks apart to spray the surround a satin black instead of the nasty wood veneer effect & also the trim across the dash aswell..... Time, time, time.....

Out of all my above plans, i've only managed to give the MG a good clean up inside as it was a tip after fitting the rear roll cage and managed to trim the carpet without messing it up!
To cold/wet to do the other bits so there tomorrows tasks now...

I spent 2 1/2 hours in the freezing cold sanding a slab of carbon fibre, and it still isn't smooth (harumph). Not strictly related to my cars, but thought someone might be vaguely interested...

did you work from underneath the car or from above? not got round to doing it yet, was going to attempt removing the fresh air vent but i've heard there a pic to get off! but i can't rod it from above because of a wire mesh.
