well i was thinking about getting a front cage but i went in a car with a front cage last year and i wouldn't fancy whacking my head off the cage in a crash without a helmet on as your heads pretty close to it so i'm going to leave it at that as i plan to use it daily in the summer

Nice one, the old man bought one from safety devices for his B but it didn't fit because of the poxy webasto!

What are you going to use it for? I've got a photo that you might be interested in. A rubber bumper sprint car, the same colour as yours but with a chin spoiler, really lowered with a set of chrome weller rims. I'm not usually partial to wellers but these look the bizzo!

If you are, I'll try and get it scanned at some point. Might give you some inspiration!

What are you going to do, lower it 2" and fit V8 pads?

well i was going to use lowering blocks for the back and shorterned springs and shortened bumpstops for the front from www.mosseurope.co.uk and it will be chrome bumper ride height-ish then...

It's just had new discs and pads, shoes etc so going to see how they cope on the track day.

That reminds me I need to relocate the chequebook and finish ordering the safety devices six point cage I'm getting for the Imp, it was going to have a four point alleybars until that got stolen, but the six point is safer anyway, and I'm on a bit of a budget so a bolt in six pointer is all I need really, and it's my road car as well so I don't want a WRC style job, since with my health (the bloody ankle's acting up again, I walked into the town centre today by the time I came back I could barely walk! ;D ;D ;D ;D) I'd never be able to get in the bloody thing! ;D ;D ;D ;D I'll put up pics when it gets delivered and again when I install it!
