So then, what did I miss?
HoTWire: Got lots of photo's from the NZ Festival of Speed from the Dunedin street races, so when I load them up I'll send them across to you so they can be added to the main site.

No, he didn't I went over to see him but he wasn't there at the time! I left a message that I'd been looking for him, and that I'd try and phone him later - little did I know that my mobile didn't work in NZ . By the time I'd wondered round the pits and spoken to the guys from the Dunedin Sports Car Club it was gone 5.30pm and they wouldn't let me back inside the oval where he was...........

Thanks for all the 'welcomes' nice to know I was missed (just a little anyway). Am going to burn all the pics on to a CD so that HoTWire can upload them to the main site, so it might be 1-2 weeks before they're available. Nope, didn't buy any rims for the rocco, but I might have a set lined up: £275 for a set of 4............or should I just stay with some new steelies: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7958916342&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT.............

those alloys look a bargain - need 'plopping on though to make sure it's not gonna look too Elizabeth Duke at Argos though. But as my other thread showed... black rimz on a white motor are a bit tasty.
what's up with the steelies you have?

But as my other thread showed... black rimz on a white motor are a bit tasty. what's up with the steelies you have? They're a bit rusty. The alloys would be my choice, but I'de have to get new tyres as well. As with the steels, I could just use my existing tyres.............the only snag is that they're in Peterbourgh.................

By the sounds of things we (SnoozinEuro, Bullitt and I) were probably in the Pit area the same time as you!! we couldn't get back across til right after the last race, then we made a trip to a shed with some magical pieces of machinery and componentry in it and THEN! I elft a black line up the street and over a speed bump and a little bit further up the street. ;D
