I would like to say first off... If someone wants to have it shipped overseas, I am MORE than willing to help. I know how rare Celicas are in other parts of the world, so I would not mind sharing the love.
here it goes
Well, it has come time for me to pass this ORIGINAL Celica on to fellow enthusiests. I have taken care and loved this Celica for some time now, but due to an incident involving a tree and three of my cars, I am forced to sell this one to make money to fix the broken cars.
Anyways, what you are looking at is the CLEANEST example of an all original 1971 RA20 Celica I have ever seen. This is a super rare car with super rare dealer options. If you don't already know, the RA20 is the rarest Celica ever brought over to the US, and happens to be the first year as well. The RA20 was produced only for 1971... in 1972 the designation went to RA21.
-This car came equipped with a rare trunk/luggage rack (installed when new).
-Custom seatcovers from back in the day
-SUPER rare tape player with original manual and original Toyota mounting brackets!
-Factory equipped A/C!!!! (converted to R134, just needs a new valve, SUPER COLD)
-Original underhood light in original case
-Original genuine 1971 RA20 owners manual
-Brand new never used genuine Toyota key, and spare gas door key (total of 4 keys)
-Original jack and tool kit
It is registered as a collector vehicle here in the states and has an authentic 1971 license plate with the original 1971 tab still on it. 120,000 miles on the car (low mileage considering its 37 years old).
The dashboard is MINT (almost impossible to find)
All working gauges (exception of the fuel gauge, sometimes cuts out)
Super clean seats (very little wear underneath seatcovers).
As usual with an old and unrestored car, there are dings, scratches, and a couple little rust bubbles protruding the paint in areas (nothing serious or structural). The paint is still pretty nice, but would be nice to give it new paint.
It runs and drives great, the brakes may need to be gone through sometime in the future, but its basic maintenance anyways. Its got a fresh oil change, and fresh gear oil in transmission.
If anyone is interested, let me know, otherwise its going on ebay in the next couple of days. What I am asking is super cheap, considering I have seen RA21's and RA29's (not even half as close to rarity) go for well over 6K!
I would drive this ANYWHERE, it runs and drives that nice. I would not even worry about taking it cross country as it sits.
Located in Seattle, Washington USA
$6,500 USD FIRM.
