It was definately an Alfa, and it looked very similar to this... but it was only a fleeting glimpse as i was going one way, the alfa was going the other in town.  |

Definitely an Alfa? Not a Bristol?  Both are excellent "spots" ;D We should produce a "Spotters Guide to Retro Rides" book or something!! |

If it was the Alfa you saw..............a very rare beast indeed..........6C2500....SS version I think might not have been identical, but it was certainly VERY similar lines... quite ratty looking too. |

I've been tempted a number of times to get a nicely ratty Mk2 Jag and burn it around for a bit,.. Sadly it would probably fall apart in a week parked outside my place,.. maybe when I've got a garage  |

Probably the rarest transaxle Alfa, even though it's more or less a long 75 with a V6 engine.

Just imagine if we got into proper 'classic' cars... Would be interesting if the proper 'classic' car establishment go into the Retro mobiles ,.. maybe save a few more of those old Toyota CROWNs etc. from the crushers ... |
