Regretably as I need to make some space I'm considering selling one of my 131s. It is a 131 Supermirafiori 2000cc twin cam. 5 speed PAS electric front windows central locking. Looks rough in primer but is actually a pretty solid shell but does need lots of work. Has new front wings, 4 new door skins and a new rear quarter fitted. Needs a new front panel fitted (one supplied with car). Full details and pictures at: www.dropshots.com/argentamanThe car is near Carlisle. I'm looking for £300. I was going to/will break it if it does not sell, but would rather someone put it back on the road as they are so rare. Can help out with some spare parts by negotiation if necessary. Questions? PM me or ring me on 07813 934305 Dave.

If it does get broken, I'd be interested in the engine and wheels!

For MOT it will need a new exhaust, the brakes sorted and possibly a little welding here and there. Also things like electrics will need sorted, it needs a headlight and front indicators. Headlights and indicator units are usually available on ebay.
Thanks for your interest guys.

No one want this then? Really do not want to break it but will if necessary. Looked more closely at it yesterday and gave it a hoover. It's better than I thought. Three of the four door frames are really good with only the drivers front showing any rot. The inner wings are also really good where they usually rot. I think I'm convincing myself to keep it or break it for spares!

I know the feeling! My daily driver needed the timing chain replaced. Started it last night discovered the new chain is a foot too long! Turns out its the wrong one. Correct one should arrive tomorrow. So the car is in bits and I have no daily driver! Isnt life grand...

Bliss Dave, sheer bliss - got an Audi A4 Avant 110BHP Tdi, only just bought it, dragged it throught the test, but now running rather flat.....MAF, one of the pressure EGR/Turbo solenoids - who knows..........

Yo Mirafioriman! If you're selling this to make space for a 130, don't break it! That would be a terrible shame cos of its rarity. I'm sure someone will turn up sooner or later who can see more than a twink for a minor or whatever (that will probably never get built anyway). the 130 is going nowhere so theres no hurry.

Thanks for that, I'm on for the deal for both cars. Just waiting for the man to collect the engine I sold on ebay and getting the truck up and running!

I am so tempted by this but I think the logistics of transporting it from Carlisle to Hampshire would be complicated (and expensive!) - I learnt to drive in a 1.4 white mirafiori that was given to my father, it looked like a heap of junk but despite being a little gutless and not having power steering it was a fantastic car to drive. I've always wondered about getting a Super Mirafiori one day but I've only just started looking around and never realised just how rare they are!! Does anyone know a reasonably cheap way I could transport a car like this down south? I'm completely inexperienced in this field.

Free bump, cool car for the money. I worked in a garage about 15 years back where the owner had a mint B plate Fiat Argenta which he rated very highly. Long gone now though...

Sorry this car is now gone. Old thread which I must have forgot to close.... Still have some 131s though. They still come up for sale at times. Check out www.131mirafiori.com and www.strada130.co.uk
