"What's in a name? That which we call a rose By any other word would smell as sweet." What's prompting the sudden stampede for folk to change their usernames? It's confusing the hell outta me! ;D

never have a username connected to a particular make or model as you'll look silly being called "MisterCortina" and driving a Manta And if you have a daft username, always have a range of different answers as to where it came from.

Never trust a man Who names himself Trevor. Or one day you might find He's not a real drug dealer.

So what you got in mind? Does it start with 'Dat' and end in 'sun?'
I won't change my name as I don't plan to sell mine! I might even consider deed poll.

I had 77Mini for ages and it was very un-imaginative.
So a while ago I an equally un-imaginative idea of looking in the dictionary and choosing the first word with Mini in it and changed it to Minion n creature, hanger-on, favourite, pet.

Changed mine a while ago because I sold the mini, and 1380Checkmate wouldn't seem appropriate anymore. iRocco comes from my knickname at work - nothing to do with the wibblepoo Will Smith Audi advert, ah....I mean iRocco

My Dad raced through the 70's/80's then I took it up when I was 13, 'Adam Tait Racing' was what I had as the sun strip.
But he's got back in the swing of things so I had to drop the 'Adam'.

What's prompting the sudden stampede for folk to change their usernames? Because we can? I didn't realise that it could be done so easily until I noticed how many others had done so (ie not a special request to HoTWire)!! I normally sign on as 'Paul H', but for some reason that I've long since forgotten, I didn't when I joined this forum... I'll be keeping the 'aka' bit for a while to avoid too much confusion

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.
