Ok, I've been told to show my car here, because you'd like them. And here it is
It's an 1974 Corolla Sedan 1200. I've bought it about a year ago in Belgium.
This is how I got it:
When I was at the Dutch importcheck:
After it was legalized in the Netherlands, the first changes where made. I installed a THSS (Toyota Hidden Sound System). A Radio/Cassette player in the glovebox and a cd changer in the back. So I can listen to good music
Removed some stickers and mounted other mirrors (the old ones were rubbish . Made a plate in the interior to mount some switches on (the old ones where on an ugly plate in the glovebox)
And I fitted new wheels, wolfrace, and someone made a new exhaust for me.
Everyone who came to the Japanese Nostalgic Weekend could have seen my car. I was there

It's a TRD 2 Way LSD. It's for a Zenki KP61, but i hope it'll fit mine. If not, i'll make it fit
I'm also having a pair of AE86 front shocks. i wanted to swap them over, but they don't fit, sadly. Now i'm going to try to fit Koni Inserts in my front legs, we'll see how it turns out. I also found a coil-over kit which should fit (Paradise Racing). It should ban out the body roll, i hope.
And i'm planning to swap the original 3K-H out for a worked 4K engine. 100cc bigger engine from a Starlet. The engine was used in a rallycross starlet, and is fully blueprinted. Lightend flywheel, balanced crank, lumpy cam, bigger valves, worked head, lighter timing chain (1 row instead of the usual 2 row chain, from a 7K, they told me) and twin 40 DCOE weber carbs. The owner said it deliverd around 100bhp @ the flywheel. That should be quite interesting in a 765 kg car i guess
Now that is a thing of beauty. I'd seen pictures of that LSD everywhere & wondered who'd bought it, if it so happens that it doesn't fit your car, let me know....PLEASE!!!! Oh yeah, welcome to the madness
The guy who build it, wanted to use it, but once he was busy with the Sedan, he saw a KE25. So he sold the KE20 and went on with the KE25
That one is a serious motor, with a tuned 2T-G in it etc. etc. Looks like this now:
He wanted to drive the Classic Monte Carlo Rally, earlier this year, but i don't know if he actually started.
My car was used in Belgian "navigation rallies". With regularity rides and stuff. I do have got a nice picture when it's in full action, but need to get my scanner to work, because it's an old picture.
i just use it as a daily driver atm

Love em both. I thought you rallied the 20 too! That said, it's pretty cool to see a car in full rally trim as a daily, must get it's fair share of looks!
Did you buy the LSD off Yahoo auctions? It's an X-code centre? I'd love one of those, ah well I'll have to make do with my stupid 3.4:1 single spinner for now (3.4:1 is an awful ratio for a standard K series... god knows why mine has it, it's more often found in auto Starlet's)
I haven't got a clue about X-coded centre or not. The seller said it was for a Zenki KP61, so i thought i'd give it a try. Maybe a strange thought, about such an expensive thing, but if it works i can do this:
A lot better
And indeed, it draws a lot of attention. I get quite a few thumbs
Yesterday I finally got to fit the AE86 front struts, here's a story of yesterday
Getting rid of the old curse word:
When I got the strut away, I 'only' needed to remove the steering arms, which wouldn't get out of their position. At that time 2 friends arrived, and they solved the problem (after a long time bashing on the bolts/steering arm etc. etc.) with a 'dutch screwdriver'
3 hours after I started, the AE struts where finally on:
installing the brake bits on 2 sides:
Spot the difference
'new' wheels (4x114,3 8) ) on the car:
Looks nice, doesn't it?
