Tell me about it Kee, it seems like so long since I was using it properly.
I think early Mondeo washer pumps are of a sort that should do the trick, I'll go for a wonder around a scrapyard or two tomorrow...

Yeah you could say that. You could also say that the front end has been rearranged by the front of a Toyota Avensis. I'm not sure what the future holds for escRot if I'm honest. And happier times....

That's a familiar sight. Sorry to see that. What happened, if you don't mind me asking?

There seems to have been movement in the chassis rails. I suspect caused by the odd angle he hit me at. There's a crease in the heater bubble which says to me that the bulkhead has moved or at least flexed. The inner wing has deformed quite heavily on the drivers side and the way the passenger side inner wing has been disturbed it looks like the whole front end has shifted a bit. On the bright side, the doors still open, no glass popped and the roof is untouched.
Its still at the garage I'm just trying to get someone to move it home so I can have a proper look and take some pictures.

You have to fix the car! Remember, it's only metal!

curse word sorry to see that mate. Was it the other driver at fault? If so they have to repair the car even if in there eyes it's a write off.

Think of how pleased with yourself you will be if you fix it.
Now compare that to the sadness if you don't.

Matt No they don't Whats the plans ? are you going through insurance ?? defo repairable looking at that it just depends if you have the love to do so - if insurance though you risk CAT B on that if it's too bad under bonnet....

Sadly the insurance don't HAVE to fix it, although if its an agreed value policy it may change things. The cost of good escorts will help you though.
Feel for you. Ace car. Always wanted one but missed the boat with them.
