Received my brand new shiney calipers in the post so i'll be throwing these on as soon as i can.....have to get the master cylinder sorted out now. Gonna be a busy weekend with the two cars to sort out but i'm miles away from them both at the minute and i'm dying to get cracking on with it.
Still haven't got my finger out in relation to the springs but its gonna happen............all monetary donations for the whole project are welcome!!!

Right so i've got the calipers, got some greenstuff pads on the way and just ordered a new set of Spax adjustable shocks. I still cannot get this springs fella, all i get is his answering machine all the time........although maybe that's just the way he speaks?Oh no.........Cannot get my Magnum spares fellas either, been trying him for two weeks to no avail. Worst bit is - he has all the bits i need listed as in stock!! Its just teasing me....like not being allowed to touch the girls in the stripclub, or so i'm told

Gold Slots, VERY nice indeed! Now I need me tissues, ta! Thanks man, i'm out in the rain trying to polish the other three to match! The rain saves me putting the wet-and-dry sandpaper in a bucket!

As i said already i didn't get much done today due to a mixture of exhaustion and frustration but i sprayed the front pulley cover and only have to finish polishing the top of it now. Left my sump off with the uncle to fix up as its leaking due to a very bad repair (done before i owned the car). Once i get it back i'll be putting the engine back in and hoping for the best ;D I had intended getting a set of Mazda MX-5 or Porsche 924 seats for the front and putting the original rear back in then getting the whole lot recovered with some tasty black vinyl i got about 4years ago, but, i cant seem to find any of these for decent money so it looks like original fronts going back in for the time being. Hopefully i'll get the remainder of my missing/broken bits gathered up soon and take into the car properly in the hope of hitting the show................say a prayer or something for me

Good news at last! Got my springs ordered (thank you coggers!) finally, got my new shocks ordered (cha-ching) and also got through to my man about the other bits and bobs. I might not be able to get the master cylinder from him afterall but as luck would have it, my da found a repair kit i had lying in the garage since god knows when so i can crack on with that.I just have to order the polyurethane bushes now and i'm well on the way. Unfortunately this means I'm nowhere near completion in time for the show but i hope i'll be able to take the Rocco instead.
Cant wait to see what the Magnum looks like when its dropped over the slotmags!!

I know, i know - its all time and my laziness!! Shocks wont be with me for approx 3 weeks as they have to be built and springs should be here in a week or two so as soon as they are i'll be posting pictures of the Magnum digging holes in the tarmac! Have to order the poly bushes now too and do it all at once when i'm pulling it apart. I've a few days off next week and my uncle got the sump patched up for me so hope to get that back in and i might have a fella to make me up a tidier exhaust than the current botch job. Anyone know where i can get a Cherrybomb silencer from? I'm trying to get him to do a stainless job but that would mean paying him!!!

Very good, more money!!! That's not bad pricing though is it? One's on ebay in rough condition going for that kinda money............be worth it for the noise though wouldn't it

Not much to report here either - had great plans and no success!! Hoped to have had the engine back in place but still hasn't happened.....maybe tomorrow.......i got a few bits in the post for the interior - stupid stuff like an "angle of attack guage" (should make for interesting driving) and i also got this : so that'll fill the centre section of my exhaust nicely and should give a lovely note (thanks coggers for the link) Got my sump back, cleaned up, painted and will be fit back in place in the morning.....got the heater ready to go back in and also got another two wheels polished and painted. Anyone who has polished their own wheels can feel my pain at this stage. Excuse the sh1tty mock-up but this is how it looks with its current Gasser stance (minus the engine and no lowered springs fitted as yet): Let's see what tomorrow's post brings to the game! ;D
