right, after many different decisions, puting DET in the viva! along with ALOT of help from si, engines in, in a day! lots to do but should be roadworthy soon... heres sum pics    |

aha ! glad you decided to get stuck in with this , it'll be worth it  does this mean that the chuvitt is no more ? or have you mothballed it to play with at a later date ? and am i right in thinking you said this viva has a scabby front panel ? |

basically, the chevs my daily. cheap ins tax etc. will be up for sale when the viva's done. i always only av one car, no matter ow extreme!
the viva arrived with pretty much no front end and a cortina clip. now has magnum clip and new glass wings fitted, most of front will be made up of intercooler mick wilkes styleee!

so what gearbox are you using ?
and what axle have you got ? just thinking if its an ohc axle then it should have the 10inch drums on it anyhoo..

gearbox is the nissan s13 box, and got a triumph tr7 axle out back. have got spare magnum 1800 axle but the triumph diff and halfshafts are way bigger than the magnum one so stickin with that. fits in there lovely too.
thanks again for giving me yours mates number regarding the front air dam, my brother had one on his drag car, looked ideal.
