Okay, pulled the injectors and fuel rails from a pair of Nissan Silvia Turbo's down the scrappy in the hope that they'd have a high flow-rate for the V8. Trouble is I can't find any info on the injectors - tried all the lists of injector flow rates that I know of on the net but drew a blank . A bit of a long shot, but does anyone know the flow rate of these injectors? If they aren't a high enough flow rate I'll have two sets of injectors for sale! The fuel rails are perfect for the V8 though - saves me fabbing some from scratch ;D

That'd be great! Would a file compression program like WinZip make it small enough to send I wonder? I'm not very computer-literate so it only sounds as if I vaguely know what I'm talking about!! ;D ;D

Double up on injectors if they're below par?
The guy with the Meteor V12 in PPC made a rather heath robinson-esque flow bench if I recall correctly.

I was contemplating running 16 injectors - MegaSquirt can run upto 16 so it should be OK. I've bought so many injectors over the past few months the guys at the scrappy are beginning to think I trade in them!! The biggest ones I have at the moment are 238cc (22.7lb) from a US Jeep 5.2 V8 but by my calculations they will only flow enough for a 250bhp turbo lump, and I'm predicting (although not at all certain) that I'll get more than that! Even if these are a lower flow (say 190cc), they should be OK if I team them up with the MOPAR ones.... but then I have to find somewhere to mount another 8 injectors Would be cool if the necessary info could be extracted somehow!

What about injectors from the Sunny/Pulsar GTi-R version of the SR20DET? I think mine were 440cc standard, and might fit the Nissan fuel rail you've got.

370cc/min?! Perfick! Good searching Penski . Only trouble is now, I cracked one of the nozzles taking them out Doh! But hopefully I should be able to source one for a reasonable price . Just to make absolutely sure... the Silvia Turbo and Bluebird Turbo (about 1987 vintage) were SR20DET engines were'nt they?

Aaron - GTi-R 440cc injectors would be great! But I'll need two sets as they're for the V8 If you have a couple of sets I'd be interested

Right, from a bit of Googling I reckon they're CA18DET engines *but* they still had the 370cc injectors, so I'm still OK with these injectors. I'll just have to post a "Wanted" ad for another injector! ;D I get proper confused when it comes to J engines - I don't really know a lot about the different models. Some clues are: the engines are non-intercooled (I think the SR20DET was intercooled), and I think the Silvia was badged a 1.8.... P/no for the injectors is A46-00 but I've searched all over and found nothing for that part number

Silvia's where CA18ET's mate here is a picture of a silvia engine (uk car that is) Here is a pic of a CA18DET from a 200sx and here is a SR20

Thanks for clearing that up . I'm going to book myself in for some "learn your J-car engines" classes soon! ;D I think, from what I can find out, the injectors are the same (370cc/min) - which is perfect! Just need to find one more now

Sorry, I don't have any spare standard 440cc injectors, but if they are the rating you end up needing, there's always GTi-Rs being broken for spares on ebay and the GTi-R owners club website.
