Curses, I hit the post button by mistake Anyway, I rekon i must have over a hundred copies. Some are good, some are not, but they're totally retro. I think they're from the mid seventies and it was one of those magazines you buy weekly and build up a collection of. I got them from an old boss of mine and forgot I had them till now. All I need now is a week off work too read them all ;D

They look great, I bet they smell nice too, I love the smell of old magazines. That Porsche concept car is pretty funky, I like the gullwing engine cover When's the party? I'll bring over some classic CCCs.

Wonder if the chopped Beetle's still around? Lovin' the reg. number.....

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

That Bug is a '52...making it a split-oval. I supect a good few rare parts got chucked in the skip when that was built. Want to see more sacrilege? Turn to page 468 in the same issue (On Four Wheels mags are consecutive, and meant to be in binders) where you'll see a rather tasty '54 Oval Baja!

On Four Wheels - a new one on me! Haven't seen those before. Are they any good? Worth hunting out?

On Four Wheels - a new one on me! Haven't seen those before. Are they any good? Worth hunting out? No, not really. They were a mass-produced series intending for you to build an encyclopedia of motoring by buying a new magazine each week. They have a content similar to the kind of car books you buy in Asda. Interesting, but not really aimed at the hardcore enthusiast. Of course their age makes them interesting, as the cars that were current at the time are now retro! I haven't got a full set...just a few oddments.
