Just thought id post this up. A guy i speak to a lot had his pride and joy stolen on sunday night in merchiston park, edinburgh. If anyone knows anything please let me know. The wheels are very rare as there aren't much in the UK. Its a Black BMW E30 316 with 17" wheels, bucket seats. All his uni stuff is in the boot and his driving liscence. Thanks.

ah curse word shame. hope he gets his stuff back at least. i fearthe car will probably be just ragged and then burned. probably just curse word joyriders who nicked it. e30's are far too easy to steal

Yeah, its terrible. I hope he gets it all back but unfortunately it don't look like it. Yep, they are very easy to steal which is bad. Glad i have an alarm at least on mine.

Ah fuksake... I am in Glasgow, so I will keep my eyes peeled.
Not many E30's kicking about, so should be easy to spot..

For faaaawwkkkkss sake!
Have droped a line to my bro - he's a teacher at one of the less reputable Glasgow tech's...... he's putting the word out ( for some reason the kids realise he was almost as bad as a young 'un. ) Not sure it'll be too late though.
Best of luck.........

I reckon this one could turn up with the usual glass and lock damage. Most stolen cars do turn up in more or less saveable condition, its only when the car is likely to have been swiped for a purpose (Impreza - break up, Austin Cambridge - banger race, F-reg Volvo 740 no tax or test and flat tyres - weigh in) that you can say you`ll never see it again.

Thats rather reassuring. Hope your right mate. Would be good as the car has a lot planned for it including a nice big engine.

Thats a bummer, would have thought this would at least have turned up, even if not in too good a state.
