Sold this on ebay at Easter but the buyer turned out to be a timewaster who has failed to turn up and pay/collect 4 times.
Therefore it is available again.
Fully rebuilt done less than 6000 miles of gentle driving since.
Re-Bored, crank ground, heavy duty vandervell bearings. Kent 3FY fast road cam, 'Mexico' big valve head. Fitted with lightened flywheel and clutch. Also has an Aldon side entry modified Dizzy with it bought new when the engine was re-built. New oil and water pumps fitted at time of build. Needs a carb and manifold otherwise complete.
I ran it on a twin choke downdraught initially and then on a single 40 sidedraught. Fast engine for a 1300cc motor.
Suitable for a Mk1 or 2 escort or Anglia perhaps?
Ideal for a younger driver to keep insurance costs down.
