Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

I have similar ones here,I understand they were handed out to dealers for display in showrooms .I have ones with Fangio and Moss dicing it out too. What I really want is a copy of the documentary made in the 1960's featuring Moss and Jenks Epic drive.

Had a nice chat with Sir Stirling a few years ago as he surprised us by visiting the 2CV stand at the classic car show. Seems he really likes them! Bet that upset some of the sporty-loving folks. He is an absolute legend.

The car (no 722) in the poster is wrong though? For the 1955 MM Jenks was co-driving and it was an open 2 seater. Here's a pic:

722 is the correct number. The artist showed the car in single tonneau set-up, as opposed to dual. That's OK, because this is the factory MB original victory poster and that was the artist's license.
I'd been trying to score an original Moss "anything" for years. This is about as good as it could possibly get for me.
It hangs next to my Nicholas Watts' print of Fangio winning the 1957 Nurb over Collins and Hawthorne, setting a new track record every lap at the end, in an obsolete car. Oh yes, signed by Juan-Manuel too. There they are, Stirling and Juan, signed and in my office side by side, racing up my wall.
Over there is Carroll with a Daytona Coupe, signed. And Dan Gurney, signed, with the Harry Weslake V12 Eagle at Spa.
And Sir Hamish Mahaddie DSO DFC (signed) print by Robert Taylor (signed) flying Lancasters to raid Peenemunde.
I love my little office.

Spuff-tastic T'old Mr Moss lives round these parts, he was on the local news the other night driving this - Moss lives in Mayfair in London. www.stirlingmoss.com/fun_things.htm722 is an amazing piece of kit, seen it several times with Moss at the wheel - given that number as it was the depature time 7:22 for him and Jenks to start the Mille Miglia.....1000miles in 10 h 07' 48" - not bad for 1955!
