I'm liking that blue, its an odd colour though thinking about it, somehow manages to be pale and strong at the same time.

I don't think the Ford blue will look as nice as your anticipating.
Might be worth asking for some photoshop helpage.

A dark bluey, slight purplish tinge in satin would be my first choice. Just read that whole thread - where near Oxford are you? I'm pretty close to Bicester, but just can't think where it is you could be living... Lovely car, thoroughly appreciate the dislike for welding, I passionately hate rust, but can't seem to buy cars that don't have it somewhere! lol In answer, yes its bright enough

sweet! yeah..i could try and photo hop it but i'm no good on computers so car would end up looking like a boat or something....
The lighter shade just seems to look like a grey sky day (british summer then...) but the darker blue is like a hot sunny day in the caribbean... a nice happy colour (which will get on my nerves.......)
i'll soon know after the weekend if i manage to paint bay. alex

Now that (^^) is nice and bright. Although, I do like the blue but I reckon Orange might be a bit better suited to the RX3.

I wouldn't paint it a common Ford blue that seems like the wrong idea since the car is so individual, Winning Blue Metallic as used on the RX-8 would look amazing.
