Well the time has come to sign write the van for the plumbing business and we need to remove the stickyness from the old stickers that the plasterer before us had on, and needed for a couple of stickers on the panda. So does anybody know a good sticker/adhesive remover? Many thanks in advance

I use this stuff called Sprad. Dunno who makes it, or where it came from - it's been in the garage for years! Works well though.
Alternatively, WD40 works on some adhesives.

I used white spirit to try and get some factory stickers off before.. and based on that.. I'd recommend trying anything but white spirit.. took bloody ages.. and there was still residue after god knows how much scrubbing.

i just know that you shouldnt use those 'magic sponges' you get from the pound store, yes they take the stickers off, but they also were taking the paint off

best thing is a carmel wheel (spelling) you put on a drill or wait until its hot out side peel stickers off and use unleaded to take the glue off its the only way

What I've used in the past on ex-plod motors I've picked up with the decals still on is a wallpaper steamer, softens the adhesive and the vinyl then just peel off and wipe any residual glue off with white spirit etc or proprietary tar/adhesive remover. Simple!

Years ago, when i rfirst left school i worked at a place where they did the monster munch trailers. Huge stickers, we used heat guns to remove the decals then panel wipe to clean them up. Works out cheaper that way.
