Went JapFest at Santa Pod last weekend. Now i have to admit it was rammed full of Chavs and fibreglass covered tat. But, i amongst the neons and blow of valves there was a few gems Drifting Corolla's Only Yank i saw Cossie engined estate put down some stunning times and sounded perfect Tidy AW11 - hairdreser edition unfortunatly Cappucino's, i love these, everyone thinks i must like boys? i don't care! 260z'zzzzzzzzzz When Barry met 260 Original Rex This passed me and i managed to get some shots Not a clue what it was, but the power of digital zoom informs me its a Datsun Violet??? Star of the show for me (actually won an award) was this Early Prelude - Stunning! So there ya go, sometimes its worth cocking your NY cap to one side, wearing your slacks around your ass and blending in, you might see something worthwhile

that green escort estate is in the latest edition of PPC, being mapped by dave walker. its owned by Retro Ford IIRC and used the estate shell as they are lighter and stiffer apparently. engined mapped at summat like 270-280bhp

The Viole(n)t owner needs to be beaten to within an inch of his life for those alloys - spoil a great looking car IMHO. The Prelude is a pearler...... really like that. Only ever seen terminally rusty ones sputtering around.
Looks like a great day out - no Boso or VIP wannabe's around then?

Yeah i like the Prelude too! Numberplates look a bit RONG like.
These cars have a great radio in em, its like a whirly knob on the side of the instrument binnacle with a rotating drum thing to show you what frequency you're on (Whats the frequency Kenneth?)
I also think that the Datsun Violet looks OK on those wheels, bit of an Aussie look innit? Strewth! Doesnt it belong to Datsfun?
