Hi there, as you may have seen in the other threads I happened across a car that has stood for over 12 years, parked up with only 26,153 miles on the clock.... still has the nose cone with the lettered FORD badge, not the blue oval.... recaro fishets,5 original wheels.... shame it stood in the elements as the old rust set in, rear arches and strut tops as usual but all in all she's fantastic... I will set too getting her running first, then start the strip, weld, paint and put back together again.. She wil never be a show winner but she will get used in the way she was built for, sideways on track.... Just done 1 wheel with normal alloy wheel cleaner...... will pop up more pics as and when I can s88.photobucket.com/albums/k168/paulb69_2006/rs2000/

RS2000's have always been high on the list of cars I'd love to own - why do I never find things like that very cool car, you're a lucky guy

Currently driving a 1972 BMW 1602 as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

only things removed are the original radio, tool bag and air box....

fantastic fix up operation, might have been a lucky find but best its in safe hands than rotting. keep it up, another childhood ambition here too.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
