MGB Scuttle: What is it meant to look like?

I am doing some scuttle repairs to my MGB, but I have hit a small snag. Basically, my car originally had a Vinyl roof on it, but somewhere down the line it was removed. As a result you can see the join at the upper part of the windscreen where it joins the A Pillar at the top.

What I want to know is whether it is meant to be filled in or not, and if so, what's the best stuff to use (I guess filler will crack in no time, Fibreglass maybe?).

Mine at the moment has a bit of the roof which overlaps the A pillar a little bit near the top of the scuttle/windscreen.

I think they were leaded originally- but don't quote me on that.

Just use normal filler and you should be fine.

Ah cool, I'll consider that. Won't the filler crack though, or it should be fine? .

Yeah they were leaded mate, will dig a picture of mine.

Mine was the same, if the gap is deep, weld then grind and fill bud, mines not cracked ever.
