They have a 'cult following', apparently - make of that what you will. By the looks of it, I'm guessing it'll be a hoot to drive, and having a missus you hopefully won't mind the effeminate image you might get when driving it...

Check the rear suspension turrets in the boot for rust, i seen one that looked mint on the outside but needed extensive welding there.

I really quite like them... Which is odd as there's nothign about them (other than the Tbar) that I should like... Then again, I loved my Sera...

These are pretty wibblepoo really, especially if you get the wheezing carb-fed one with a catalytic converter - I think it made about 80bhp. The injected GA16DE engine is great though, pretty much unbreakable.

Yeah, just a mid90s Sunny with a t-bar roof and silly insurance rating.
I don't think we got the EXA that pre-dates the 'NX. That looked a little like a mk1 MrTwo.

Well it turned up on the transporter last night. Checked it over today and am well pleased. Structually, as far as i can see its solid, can't see any rot in the rear shock towers or sills. Interior looks mint, no rips or stains at all. its fitted with an immoboliser, and even has all the handbooks and radio code card. It came with a wad of invoices/history nearly half an inch thick. Main dealer history up to last year, and oil changes every 2500 miles. Oh, and its the injection engine, so no troublesome carb ;D. Best of all, as a 6ft tall, 17 stone monster i fit comfortably in it Jobs for the mot look like a couple of tyres, weld the exhaust back together where it snapped coming of the trailer, and a quick once over and some injector cleaner before the mot.

Good stuff. A mate from work has one of these with lots of rood bwoy mods and it looks great (apart from a massive 15in sub in the boot). I think they're great little cars, but they do rot like pears. He was making noises about a supposed radiator recall during the nineties - they were well dodge, according to him - but otherwise I think they're decent cars.
Wang a Readers Rides thread up and get that thing on the floor!
