Hey fella, is this MoT'd and done yet? Hope it's sorted. You do have to give me some shows/advice on this - I've only tried driftin' the once and suck'd majorly at it.....
Even thinking of welding a diff on one of the rust-buckets - I have to try it again ;D
Updates req'd.....
John

afraid not chap, the poor girl is still sat there looking all forlorn :/ However I am in the process of getting a LC bodykit to put on it and some of the bits and pieces it needs (brake caliper etc) Skidding is 90% practice ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) helps to have a few tips but most of the time its just driving! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) And yes welded diff FTMFW ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) We have a bit of an RR drift collective in the making at the moment (lots of people interested.... I wonder if we could do our own day?)

so true about that practice thing! Lot's of people overhere are spending loads and loads of cash on a posh car, without even a single hour of practice behind the wheel! There are some practice days on this side of the pond too, John, i could probably hook you up with one if you want. LC bodykit sounds promising! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

A RR drift day would be awesome! How much is Brum wheel to rent for a day? As it's a fairly central location.

Maybe we should weld the EscRots diff when I drag its ass down to A52.
It'll be good to see the senny again at some point, hopefully broadside, smoking up prescott hill ;D

We have a bit of an RR drift collective in the making at the moment (lots of people interested.... I wonder if we could do our own day?) I'm all over that! If we can't actually get a RR specific day then maybe just arrange to attend an existing drift day. Mallory is good but maybe pricey (£90) and it's debateable for beginners, though I'm a beginner and it seemed very good for me! I also did Norfolk Arena recently but the track is relatively small, especially for the 735i I was attempting to drift, it was also incredibly busy the day I attended. Good value though at £40. If only Marham still allowed drifting... I heard Curborough is rentable and I've had a good few days there going sideways! Edit, no drifting allowed ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Birmingham wheels is the cheapest I think, and sort of centralish, but it does have the potential to go tits up (ask sootyridesagain!) although is relatively beginner friendly that said. Hmmmmm. I suck at organising (can barely organise my own life!) so its up to you guys

instead of fixing what needs to be done for the MOT, Ive been 'gathering acorns' as BC-san would say I'm rubbish at keeping a secret and quite frankly I'm too excited so here is plan A ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/colonelk/_MG_0001.jpg) they are at a slight bend as they are normally held in compression by a threaded bar, which obviously isnt long enough when you add an extra two! a longer bit of threaded bar will sort that out. Got to weld what I think is the choke runner together with half the other, and check them over. Missing a couple of bits from two of them as well but nothing I cant source. This will probably enter me into a whole world of pain re: carb balancing and what not, but so far this project has cost me so little that I don't really care! gotta be worth a try! also a great mojo booster! haha
