Awesome idea ;D I've got myself a set of FRZ1000 carbs to do the same thing with on my e-type rep (just need some more now) so I'd love some pics and info on how you're doing the linkage etc. - saves me thinking about it! Keep up the coolness

I'm quite lucky with these carbs in so much as its all built in to the design. You have the two 'terminal' carbs, one with a TPS on, one with the connection for a throttle cable and a bracket to attach the cable to, all built into it, all the carbs in the middle just daisy chain together (you have to set them up so they all open evenly apparently) Is that what you meant? So for the throttle I just need to connect a suitable length throttle cable. Tell me if Ive misunderstood I have to say, now Ive done more research apparently eh 1000cc GXSR's had the same carbs (different jets) but with wider spacing! Shame I couldnt of found some of those really!

with the bike carbs ive had, they all have little adjusters inbetween each carb to balance them, but ive never had to adjust them, but you might have to as youve mixed 2 sets together.

So for the throttle I just need to connect a suitable length throttle cable. Carlton/Senator 2.6 will provide one for the correct fitting throttle pedal end thats also long enough to reach the carbs - carb end might need different approach Big trouble with bike carbs is they are used with bike twistgrips and they are normally short cable travel and not long travel like car ones

haha, you know me, not the sharpest tool in the box! Will have to see if I can jig some things around and come down. I only have the bananananananas, not extra pipe to chop up! THESE (stolen from BC) I havent chopped my up yet though! and a total of 12cm port spacing to make up! (carbs are 6cm apart, car ports are 8cm)

Love the sound of the Senatron anyway, the bike carbs are going to make it sound insane! Proper awesome. Will be interesting to see what performance increase you gain.

Indeed mate. Ill be happy if I'm level on power or upwards TBH Right, been doing lots of little jobs to the senator as I need it MOT'd asap. Gave it wash (!) as it was starting to look like a garden ornament which is never good. Anyhoo, as the light was fading, I wanted to see where the rear arch line fell with the lotus kit, so I got some tape and shonkily put it in place. Id forgotted how big these kits actually are! /\ the standard side skirts come straight down from the bottom of the door.... these stick out (and down!) considerably further.... should mean itll start to look as low as it actually is! haha /\ That all important archline.... happily it means I can cut out the rotten (and unavailable) rear arches and remake them to suit the kit. Awesomes Going to need every inch of the planned Omega rear subframe and spacers to get the wheels where I want them! I know its not the greatest condition kit, but then I paid buttons for it, and its likely to be smashed to smithereens on track anyhoo so never mind I like the (various) people who have suggested smoothing out what I have, taking molds from them, and then when the smashy smashy happens I can 'just' make a new bit I'm chuffed with that anyhoo
