Hmmm, I might have a story to tell about the handbrake shoe pins....... When I swapped the rear discs a few years back, I got a bit agressive with removing the old discs. Basically I hammered them off without realising I needed to back off the adjusters first. This is mainly because the 2nd hand discs from another Senator practically fell off in my hand!! So all of the hammering weakened the pins. they actually came out a few weeks later, it was only then when I realised what i'd done. Anyway, I straightened out the pin holes & managed to re-attach them, they didn't look too bad at the time. Obviously they must have weakened a bit too much! Soz!!! P.S. Had a haircut have we.... That's definately not the hair you had at Billing....!

Matt..... yeah I know its gonna screw with the handling. Will see how I feel about it when i drive it! As for the drifting, Ive got a theory but I aint sayin nothin Cheers for the offer though. Having said that I MAY have some other bits you might be able to help me with if I can find out whether theres any Holden cross-breeding with it! TRG..... thanks man BC..... may be having words with you then. Thought cally ones fit too or is that a rumour? Really need to sort out some of them donut bushes when the group buys on. Sooty..... nay worries man, you warned me when I bought it And yeah, don't think my boss would of been too keen on the mini-mohican heh As for the car.... nothing done tonight as I only just got in from work. Lots of things I want to do before RRG though!

I'm not sure which part of High Wycombe you're based- but I'll bet that ride goes down a storm in cartain parts Excellent attitude and stance to it - great work and used in serious anger management self help - as it should be. Another I'm wanting to see at 'the gathering'

Thanks for the kind words people. I'm in a rather low mojo state at the moment sadly maybe I should try fitting the CB tonight finally. I just look at the car and see FAAAAAR to many bodges on there which is making me a bit disheartened. GTVSaviour...... you know the town then eh? heh, I havent driven it through wycombe much due to bored cops, tend to stay out and about! Just hope I don't nuke the ol' girl at the drift day on wednesday.

Bloody hell, page 6 already! Havent done owt to the car, apart from jacking it back up again so I could leave the village with all my tyres in! Only managed to fit 8 wheels and tyres in too need to look into that. Anyways, did a skid..... at santa pod DYWB Anti-invisibility paintwork did its job Was a fun day apart from an intermittent top end rattle. Booking another one, either 27th Aug or 10th Sept or both! Need to get the welded diff in there, as the LSDs ok at higher speed but when you come to do a sharper turn and drop the speed it goes open and you end up spinning the one wheel Just got to -re-lower it for RR this weekend now heh, and pack my tent! Oh yeah, cheers to AndyC from driftworks for the pics! Fair amount of retro content there...... his pics are here..... s111.photobucket.com/albums/n152/MrC_011/Drifting/DWYB130808/?start=all

Oooooooooooooooh poop. this car has a habit of breaking itself the day after stuff, so now I have a suspected weeping water pump and a hairline crack in the rad. The valvetrain don't sound particularly pretty either Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm don't think its worth hitting the pod now really, as they don't let you on if you're dripping fluids (don't know how badly it drips yet will have to take it out and warm it up) so I may just rock straight up to Gaydon tomorrow. What time do they let people in for camping? LOL

New rims I'm so stupidly happy now I have dish! I don't need drugs, just wide wheels Just gotta fold the lips on the rear arches and shes a peach to go, as its currently rubbing the arch on the RIM, not the tyre! DOH! And for those that want to know, 17x9 et 22, 17x8.5 et 19 although the guy sold em as half an inch wider each but oh well they fit so mint I don't care Fronts too high now though, but I cant drop it anymore until Ive a) done the downpipe properly (grounding out atm) b) worked out how too, as its already on lowering springs chopped to the point of dislocation and I have very little travel left in the damper!
