heh thanks. Yeah just need to make the white all one shade of white so I can put my big numbers on the roof. Really need to redo the gold star as it should be a 6 pointer really. Thats about it really Just waiting for the weather to warm up so I can crack the paint out!

another happy day at the pod last weekend.... DWYB Advanced day... /\ I love this pic for some reason even though theres no smoke or owt Only problems were everything coming loose due to the rough surface (headlight nearly fell out, damper undid its top mount at the back and the bucket seat undid its sidemounts!) and getting a cone well and truly stuck round the front brakes..... .... oh yeah and FWD rims = FAIL even on the back, had a nice 'arc' of bare metal on the rear inner arch where the tired bushes + high offset = fouling. And I reckon the corner of the petrol tank popped a few tyres too. Oh well. Oh yeah... photographic evidence of the Crazy Octopus stencil on the bootlid up there /\ /\ that I finally got round to doing. Metallic black on satin.... quite pleased with it. Need to redo the spoiler though as its spongy so the paint flakes off it easily.

Well, my headlights had dismantled themselves internally (all the adjusters had come undone or snapped) and the legs were breaking off them again, so I spent most of this weekend faffing them back together. While I was there, relocated the indicators to the headlights (don't worry, the orange bulbs are being replaced ASAP with chrome outside / orange flashing ones) and bodged my carlton GSi freebie bumper on. Not happy with myself TBH, far too many shortcuts being taken and loads of other curse word but ho hum, its on now. Needs painting satin black, and the grill needs smoothing along the bottom. gives the front a lot more 'beef' though so thats good. Still at rubbish ride height. Still need to fix it. Run out of mojo now Thinking of giving it a new paintjob.

I always loved these old things. I remember being driven across Wales at very high speed by a Welsh girl who was about 5 feet tall and she piloted it like a demon.

Great vid and great drifting! This car has to be one of my favourites on the site. I really need to get myself to a drift day sometime soon as I'd love to learn how to do it properly.

Ha, I spotted you earlier on going through Welwyn Garden City towards Hertford. You passed us as we were on our way to Asda. You had a white Monza/Royale steaming up behind you!
