Not a very exciting question, but I thought someone might be able to help.
I need to replace the fuel lines on my Porsche 944. The genuine parts are £400+ and require lots of dismantling to fit. Instead I was going to make up my own braided steel lines at work.
However I need to join onto the fuel rail at the engine end and I can't find the correct fitting. It's a metal to metal cone fitting, very similar to BSP, but not. I've tried JIC, ORFS, BSP and 8S fittings, none are right.
Can anyone suggest what they might be, I was thinking metric -6, -8 etc but I'm not sure what sort of a seal they use.
Someone mush have had to do this at some time for an engine conversion/kit car or whatever, I suspect they're the same accross many different makes/models.
Err, some pics to make this less boring...
