NHRA OR NSRA? not sure which nationals. was on over the weekend i think.. heard it was the biggest car gathering in the uk tho not the world. if thats whats been said i cant immagine it being true. specailly on a wet weekend like this

Apparently it was the biggest cruise in the world.. 600 odd cars vs the previous record of 400odd in america or something.

great photos there, amazing how a few nice cars can make felixstowe look good!. Think your right about the record. It's been all over the local papers saying that with over 650 it has broke the world record for the most custom cars on the one site.

Yeah. The Dream Cruise is without a doubt the bigger cruise. Stuff your definitions and the "official" criteria or whatever they think 600 cars would be the biggest. That's wrong.

The Dream Cruise is completely unofficial, no entry fees, no goodie bags, no special HQ hotel. It is quite simply, a happening. It happens. The police, hotels, restaurants, businesses, chambers of commerce, etc along the route accomodate it and profit off it.

Over the course of several days the WWDC gets at least 5 or 6 thousand cars. You can sit outside perched on your bar stool for 4 straight days and never see more than 10 cars twice. If you can remember them!

i dare say there are plenty of cruises that are a lot bigger but this was the one counted for the record books so until one of the others get a proper count or somebody does another try at beating it the nasc one will be the one that stands and i am happy 2 have had a couple of cars in it .
all in all a great weekend had by all of the nightmares .

Am so dissapointed i missed this weekend again. Its usually Reading Festival but this year i got stuck working.
At least i still got to drive in amongst the cruise, luckily i got the felixstowe route in my Asda Delivery Van ;D
