***PICTURES AT THE BOTTOM!!!***
Rare bird up for grabs. Imported less than a year ago, sold with long MOT and tax.
Silver Mx-5 but built by Mazdaspeed of Tokyo Japan. Spec list is huge (and weirdly limited information on what they did to the car but here goes)
1996, mk1 (pop up headlights model) approx 80'000km
Supercharged 1.8i engine (not an aftermarket kit)
mazdaspeed modifed ECU
Uprated fuel system (by mazdaspeed)
lightened flywheel
heavy duty clutch
Forged engine internals with larger valves and other mild head work
mazdaspeed exhaust (from manifold to backbox)
Mazdaspeed engine and gearbox mounts
mazdaspeed gearbox (different ratios)
mazdaspeed short shift kit
LSD
Loads of other bits like uprated anti roll bars and extra brace bars.
Mazdaspeed specific strut tops
Lowered adjustable mazdaspeed suspension (made by bilstein I believe)
All the other late mk1 1.8i refinements are in place like:
electric windows
electric mirrors
electric aerial
larger brakes (than the 1.6i)
and being an import benefits from:
ZERO RUST
power steering (quick rack)
air conditioning
Very good paint (a few tiny little marks from the carpark that could be polished out easily)
'Black Racing' 15 x 7.5s light weight alloy wheels (in the original satin black finish) with Bridgestone Potenzas
Satin black hard top with all the fitting kit. Looks really good (matches the wheels)
Everything on this car works exactly as it should... is EXTREMELY FAST and handles really well... too well if anything (believe it or not). The supercharger really makes a BIG difference and makes an awesome noise - obviously.
Pristine interior, everything like new. Seats are black cloth, dash is black with red panel going across and red/ally door cars (trim is factory ordered, not a mix match) and looks spot on!
£3500 without hardtop and £4000 with. Car is already a future classic and seeing what rough 1.6's sell for this is a steal!
