Was down my local scrappy a couple of days ago (Smiths of Bloxham, Nr. Banbury) and noticed they had a sorry looking 2002 on an L plate out the front. Not sure on engine spec etc, but looked worth saving. Seemed to need a couple of front wings and a rear arch amongst other things; but didn't look beyond redemption.
Good project for someone perhaps?

Just cos something is good for you doesn't mean its good for everyone - for example Marmite does not make good Dog Food.

Shame. I've always fancied one of those! Alas, lack of fundage and space mean there's no way I can take it on right now

Probably cheaper to buy a reasonable MOT'd one than save a dead one...but hats off to the man that does.

A trip to Smiths scrapyard is always an adventure. ;D Knee deep in mud in the middle of heat waves, being careful to not get run over by the staff in old bangers, and just about everything being worth "tenner mate" ;D
