Hi, Don't know if anybody else has this problem but it's happened a couple of times in the last 2 days that if I click to open any link off the main page (including login screen) it does open that page but I'm redirected back to the main page within 2 seconds or so... This requires great skills in pushing the stop button on the browser window directly after a page opens I'm using IE7 on WinXP. Closing the browser or logging in and out doesn't seem to always help... Thanks for a great forum! Siert

Bizarre. Have you tried a different browser like Firefox or Chrome?
Also, run a spyware scan and see what happens...

I ran Ad-Aware which found no problems apart from some tracking cookies. Removed cookies, browser history etc... rebooted the machine. Still the same problem.
My WinXP has been cleanly installed in July and contains no browser plug-ins, toolbars or other junk. Also I have no big software packages installed.
I'm posting this message from the same machine but running Debian Linux using IceWeasel and of course there's no problem.

Same has happened to me a few times in the past. Also happened a few minutes ago. I use a link in the favourites column but when this started to happen, i googled Retrorides and accessed without problem.

Ah, great so I'm not the only one! Yes the other difference between using IE7 and IceWeasel where I had no problems was that in IceWeasel I googled it...
Now at work (also IceWeasel) but will try again on IE7 without the link from favorites once I get home.

yep, happening to me tried going to the help icon at the top of the page but that gave no answers but coming back to the board it did stop it happening just logged in and it's happening again so clicked the help icon and it's sorted not exactly a solution but it works
EDIT - although I've just tried what was mentioned above (google it and resave it to favourites) and that seems to have cured it, for now

As said, clearing cookies didn't help for me. Removing link from favorites, and re-finding RR using google as suggested earlier in this topic did... Strange thing is the old troublesome bookmark actually pointed straight to retrorides.proboards86.com and so does my new bookmark which works fine.

This reverting back to homepage used to happen to me a lot!
The cure for this was to wait for the homepage (forum index) to fully load before tyring to access one of the forum areas.
If I clicked a link to another forum area before the main page had loaded it cycled back to the main page.
