Fark me...did LeePooooooo actually design something that is pleasing to the eye?!?!?
It's stunning. It truly is....that's a well justified cut-up of a P4.

Strictly, as its a replica, ROVER designed it, not pinky and bloody perky I like what it looks like. I shudder to think whats underneath, if past efforts are anything at all to go by.

I know Rover designed it, I was merley making a nod towards the prior efforts of LeahPooh. It's odd, for me at least, to look at something which he has built (irrespective of original design) which has come out as a faithful, handsome and attractive finished product. Still, I do agree with your concerns about it's innards....MOT time should be fun.

Awesome! Hadn't seen or heard of it - never watched the TV show. The original is one of my favourite exhibits at the Science museum I think it needs a modern Helicopter engine in the back, FTW etc.

There's no way that came from the 'chop shop', where's the 6" spacers front and rear to get the racecar looks and handling what do you think that a single thing they have built would have a legal mot ;D apparently they all come with SVA approval (so the bald one said last week), although I find that a little hard to believe

I'll admit that this looks good. Normally the monstrocities they create make me watch the TV through my fingers and drag Mrs to watch the horror as they reveal it. She normally says "it's not very good is it?" I mean, come on. Would you rather have this or the 900 turbo they started with? It does look like they put a lot of graft into them but the car's do follow a theme and I'm not sure I like it. They're doing a Capri next week. I wonder if it'll have big extensions to the body panels and chunks cut out important holdy together bits?

How come it was in the Daily Mail? Were they saying that the boot was full of illegal immigrant terrorists and that it was built by Polish mechanics who had stolen "our jobs"? ;D
I've never actually seen a programme with this pair in, although I have seen some of their creations... not sure I don't hate with a passion a lot of them. Although that Rover thingummy seems alright.

Obviously something is missed in that these characters constantly make cars as such, on some show I take it? To be honest, I'm not a fan. If that contraption further down is anything go by, I wonder if you lot are just used to how horrible they come out and as them being the basis for comparison. In which case.. it looks AWESOME ;D Mind you, a few minor touches and/or thing done differently and it would look alright. ...and it's a nice colour?

Kyteler, try these for an idea of Leepu and co s previous efforts and be amazed at how 'together' the Rover rep looks in comparison

I cant seriously beleive them things are SVA'd properly, if they are they are altered afterwards, that gangster cars windows are way to dark to pass and the rover replica has no external mirrors, needs at least one surely?

Hot poop! My eyes! For once I'm very glad that there's a programme that appears on a channel I don't get to see.
Edit: the Rover does look rather cool in the picture.
